Some are certainly more masculine than others. In fact, Excite sort of smells like a perfume or girl's fragrance. But, it really just depends on what you like.
When it comes down to it, if you don't want to drop $60 to $100 on a bottle of designer cologne, AXE body spray or deodorant is a good alternative. However, since the sprays are light, the fragrance does not stick around as long as high-end colognes.
