Anthony Logistics Wake Up Call Review

One popular skincare trend for men is face energizers or wake-up gels. You have probably seen these products in some local stores like Sephora, Ulta, or a department store. You may even find some of these treatments in local drugstores and big box stores. One in particular is Anthony Logistics Wake Up Call. We are going to take a look at the specifics of this face gel and what it has to offer.

Anthony Logistics Wake Up Call is available in a three-ounce pump bottle for $38. If you recall the Action Anthony for Men line (which is no longer available), it had a product called Action Anthony Rescue Gel Treatment, which was also $38. After comparing the ingredient labels for these two products, we realized they are the same. Anyway, the Rescue Gel Treatment was discontinued with the Action Anthony line, and now there is Wake Up Call.

What is the purpose of Anthony Logistics Wake Up Call? Well, this gel formula is specifically applied to the face each morning, after cleansing. It is intended to reduce redness, minimize puffiness and bags, and make you look more awake and energized. You should see fewer signs of dryness, fatigue, and stress. The face should appear refreshed with a brighter tone.

As for the ingredients used in this face gel treatment, they include Aqua Cacteen (provides amino acids, B Vitamins, and antioxidants, while hydrating the skin), Green Tea Extract (contains antioxidants to help protect the skin from harmful free radicals), and Caffeine (this pulls excess fluids from the tissue to reduce puffiness and bags, and it also helps minimize dark circles).

As far as bad ingredients are concerned, Anthony Logistics Wake Up Call contains Blue #1, which is a dye that is not beneficial to the skin. While this face gel is free of parabens and sulfates, it contains a significant amount of Alcohol (the second ingredient listed), which will contribute to skin dryness and free radical damage.

Having used this energizing gel treatment before (the Action Anthony version), I can comment on it and how it works. In my opinion, this product is not worth the $38. While it does help reduce puffiness and redness, it makes the face look very tight and glossy. It also leaves my skin quite parched. In the long run, I think Anthony Logistics Wake Up Call does more harm than good.
