Tend Skin Review

Ingrown hairs and whiskers are both unsightly and painful. If you shave your face, or any part of your body, you have likely dealt with ingrown hairs at some point. The curlier your hair follicles are, the more prone you are to ingrown whiskers. Fortunately there are a few products out there that really do work. We are now going to take a closer look at Tend Skin for Ingrown Hairs.

Tend Skin is one of those beauty products that was discovered accidentally. Oddly enough, it was discovered by a dentist. Regardless, this liquid treatment helps banish razor bumps and ingrown whiskers. It is simply applied to the skin with a cotton ball, and can be used after washing the face or shaving.

Some of the common causes of ingrown hairs and razor bumps are genetics, shaving against the grain, and shaving too close to the skin. Put simply, the hair follicle curls over and gets trapped under the skin. This is when the problem becomes noticeable. You are left with a red bump or swollen area that is often quite painful.

Tend Skin for Ingrown Hairs works by penetrating the skin and ingrown follicle and helping it emerge or break through to the surface. This in turn eliminates the razor bump or ingrown follicle. According to the official website, this liquid treatment is especially beneficial to black men, since they naturally have curlier and coarser whiskers.

What ingredients are found in Tend Skin? There are only six ingredients used in this treatment. They are Isopropyl Alcohol (essentially rubbing alcohol), Water, Propylene Glycol (a slip agent that helps with application), Acetylsalicylic Acid (this is basically Aspirin), Cyclomethicone (a wetting agent used in skin care products), and Glycerin (a moisturizer).

The important ingredient found in this product is Aspirin. Weird huh? One thing that you should be aware of is that the Alcohol in this treatment can be quite drying. I have personally used Tend Skin for Ingrown Hairs, and I will say that it definitely works. However, I find it quite drying, so I would recommend trying it on isolated razor bumps or ingrown hairs.

This product is available via the company website, and can also be found on Amazon. The price is $35 for an eight-ounce bottle, $50 for a 16-ounce bottle, or $20 for a four-ounce bottle. Tend Skin is also available in a roll-on for $20, which is a bit more convenient.
