Jack Black Face Buff Review

Jack Black Face Buff is a treatment that can be used two to four times a week, in place of a face wash. The purpose of this face scrub is to cleanse and exfoliate the skin. This men's skincare product is available in a three or six-ounce tube. It contains key ingredients like Menthol and Vitamin C. As for the price tag on this exfoliation product, it is $18 for the small tube, and $30 for the large tube.

If you do not currently use a face scrub or exfoliation product on your face, this is certainly a potent one. Jack Black Face Buff is very dense and gritty. While it can be used by men of all skin types, if you have sensitive skin, this product may be a tad harsh. Also, if you have acne blemishes and inflamed pimples on your face, you should probably avoid this product until they are almost gone.

What does this exfoliation treatment really do? First of all, this face buff contains premium-grade micro-fine scrubbing grains. These grains help physically slough off dead skin cells. Menthol is added to this scrub to help open the pores and invigorate the skin. Vitamin C is included to brighten the complexion and combat free radicals. Licorice Extract and Allantoin are also found in this product, and help calm and soften the skin.

Jack Black encourages guys to use this scrub before shaving, since it exfoliates and helps eliminate trapped whiskers. Jack Black Face Buff can certainly help you get a smoother and closer shave. This is a good product for minimizing razor bumps and ingrown hairs. On the other hand, you need to apply this product gently, or you will end up with a red face and irritated skin.

Having tried numerous face scrubs and exfoliators, I have to say that this is the most powerful one I've encountered. However, I don't recommend using it more than twice a week. There is such a thing as too much exfoliation. Also, skin irritation can lead to problems like redness, hyper pigmentation, and even breakouts. Be sure to apply a sunscreen after using this face scrub, because your skin will be more prone to UV damage.
